Was looked after by metarnal grandparents. Studied up to fifth class in village school. Did seventh and eighth class in one year as a private student. Did matric privately.Did gyani in 1970 Did BA via bhatinda with English literature. Served in land mortgage bank from 1972to 1976.Did LLB from Punjabi university patiala from 1974to 1977 was president of students Union of law deptt. Served as assistant public prosecuter from 1978 to 1982. Did MA in Religious studies (gold medalist).
Served as sarpanch of my native village unanimously. served as president Bar Assosiation sunam. Director The malwa cooperative milk producer’s union sangrur.
joined jouranilsm depptt in Punjabi university Patiala in 1984.jioned PCS executive in 1986 served as GA, PGO, SDM,ADC dev. and General,Commissioner MC Patiala chairman Improvement Trust patiala for four years.MD, PRTC patiala served in deprtment of revenue,exise, transport, public health, higher education,urban develpment, contested election of SGPC as an unsuccessful candidate in 2004.
